MAYOR DOUGHERTY’S WEEKLY NEWS CONFERENCE

Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will hold her weekly news conference on Tuesday, April 16 at

10 a.m. in the Board Room of City Hall. The following items will be discussed:

1. Fort Detrick Area B-11 clean-up efforts:

Mayor Dougherty will address the suspension of Area B-11 excavation and reinforce her concerns for public health and safety.

2. Blight abatement:

Mayor Dougherty will review the intent of the blight abatement program and the importance of protecting public safety.

3. Drought Coordination Team:

Mayor Dougherty will review some of the frequently asked questions on the drought. She will also go over water conservation plans for business/commercial users and water-saving ideas from neighbors.

4. One Hundred Days preview:

This Friday marks the 100^th day of the 58^th Administration. A news conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19.

5. Additional accomplishments and upcoming issues: Mayor Dougherty will review additional accomplishments and issues.
