The City of Frederick is the home of many award winning public and private schools. From elementary through secondary education, as well as higher education at Frederick Community College and Hood College. It is also the home of the renowned Maryland School for the Deaf.

Our public schools are administered by the Frederick County Board of Education. Administrative offices for the Board of Education are also located in the City.
