| What is a NAC? |
| The Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative is a comprehensive community development initiative designed to empower residents and neighborhoods to strengthen communities.
At NAC meetings every resident is provided an opportunity to comment and develop solutions on neighborhood, traffic, safety, zoning, capital improvements, development review requests and other key issues.
A City police officer attends each NAC meeting as part of the community policing strategy. The officer provides residents with monthly updates and takes questions and concerns at each meeting. The process is a key part of residents and the police working together to stay proactive in keeping neighborhoods safe and healthy.
See the list below for current appointed NAC members. You do not need to be an appointed member to participate and attend meetings. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate.
For additional information please contact Stephanie Davis, Community Outreach Specialist for the City of Frederick at: stephanie@cityoffrederick.com or 301-600-1384.
