Attendees: Steve Jones, Lyle Taylor, Sharon Glazier, Diana Hallaman, Shauna Tunder, Stephanie Davis

The meeting began at 7:00 p.m.

• Police Liasion – Ofc. W.L. Trapp re: Strong arm robberies occurring on this side of rte. 40, currently under investigation.

- also discussed was Noise Ordinance – code violations for the City of Frederick

- Gang activity w/in the Taskers Chance – Addisons’ Choice Neighborhood.

Resolve: Ofc. Trapp will report the need for add’l visibility all over Taskers Chance.

• Steve Jones reported on the status of the Fiesta. The Fiesta’ was a “complete success” and a special thanks was directed to the City of Frederick, the Frederick News Post, Boscovs, Rosemary Hatch, Fredericktowne Mall, and the Frederick County Public Schools.

• Steve Jones reported that the tennis courts currently on Key Parkway were in the planning stages of being transitioned into Basketball Courts. Audience participation and comments were received. Comments included ‘Gang Activity’ and problem teens’ would be drawn to the area, if the Basketball Courts were implemented.

Resolve: Steve asked Stephanie Davis to review the status on the current planning assessment and report on this at next month’s meeting on 10/26/06.

§ Diana Halleman reported on the Treasurer’s Statement. The council reviewed the documentation.
