Carol Krimm, Alderman, is serving her first term as Alderman for the City of Frederick. Ms. Krimm received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Social Science from Frostburg University, where she also earned her MBA. In addition, she holds a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Maryland. Professionally, Ms. Krimm has worked as a project manager for H.F. Payne Construction Company as well as an instructor at Abbie Business Institute, teaching law and business courses including Introduction to Business Law, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Client Interviewing, Business Law and Law Office Management. Ms. Krimm has served as legislative staff for Delegate Galen Clagett and Delegate Sue Hecht. Alderman Krimm serves on several committees and boards including the Transportation Planning Board of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, Transportation Planning Board Bus on Shoulders Task Force as Co-Chair, Legislative Committee of the Maryland Municipal League as Vice Chair, Frederick Arts Council, Commission on Aging, Transportation Services Advisory Council, Frederick Area Committee for Transportation, Golden Mile Alliance, Airport Commission, Tax Setoff Committee, and the Taxicab Commission. Alderman Krimm has been married for 40 years. She and her husband have two children and two grandchildren.
