City Earns Certification for Quality of Life, Conservation Efforts

See the U.S. Green Building Council announcement that Frederick's water and natural resource conservation, historic preservation, and other achievements, earned the USGBC’s LEED for Cities certification.

The USGBC awards certification is based on a commitment to sustainable growth and progress, measured in standards of energy and resource conservation, transportation initiatives and quality of life. Watch the announcement here: 

See the US Green Building Council certification. During the USGBC’s public announcement at Winchester Hall on July 30, Frederick County was also recognized as a LEED-certified Community.
