Storm Clean-up Guidance & Damage Prevention

Cleaning up after the severe storm that swept through Frederick July 21 will take some time. For storm debris on private property, cut to less than 6 feet in length, bundle and put out for yard waste collection on your normal trash collection day.

Utility Wires: If you notice downed wires entangled with trees or tree limbs, do not touch. Contact Potomac Edison, 1-888-LIGHTSS, to report the issue.

City crews will be working over the next several days to clean up from the storm, and we remind you to exercise caution when passing crews on City streets.
