Directed Patrol Team Makes Theft/Drug Arrest in Downtown Frederick


FREDERICK, MD – On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at approximately 10:45 am, Frederick Police responded to the 100 block of South Market Street for a report of a stolen wallet.  Directed Patrol Team Officer, Randy Lawson was able to view video footage of the incident and identified the suspect as Teresa Dorsey, age 50, of no fixed address.     

Teresa Dorsey was arrested and when searched, officers located suspected crack cocaine, oxycodone hydrochloride, and a suspected synthetic cannabinoid blunt.  Teresa Dorsey was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and charged with the following:  

CHARGES:

  • theft $100-$1500
  • possession of a synthetic cannabinoid
  • possession of crack cocaine (Schedule II)
  • possession of Oxycodone Hydrochloride (Schedule II).
