This afternoon, the new 1 million-gallon water tank located on the City’s northern boundary went into service.
“This tank will create more system storage to assist with daily consumption and additional fire storage,” said Keith Brown, assistant deputy director of Operations.
The City’s Water Master Plan called for the new tank to help with development in the Northern end of the City. This gives the City 7.75 million gallons of daily storage.
