Alcohol Policy in Parks Not Really Changed

No drinking of beer, wine or other types of alcoholic beverages is allowed in Frederick City parks, without specific approval from the Board of Aldermen. Recent legislation allows more types of alcohol to be approved, but does not remove the conditions.

Permission must be requested and granted before each event where any type of alcoholic beverage is to be served/consumed.
