When any part of an installation is to be hidden from view by the permanent placement of parts of a building, the person making the installation shall notify the department and such installation shall not be concealed until it has been inspected and approved by the department; provided, that on large installations where the concealment of electrical equipment proceeds continuously the person installing the same shall give the department notice thereof so that inspections may be made periodically during the progress of the work. The department shall have the authority to remove or require the removal of any structure that prevents proper inspection of any electrical equipment. (Ord. No. G-94-36, § 1, 7-21-94)
