Before a renewal of the license required by section 24-6, there must be a favorable recommendation by a majority of the planning commission of the city and the premises must be inspected and approved by each of the members of the board of investigators or their duly authorized representatives as complying with all of the provisions of this chapter and all other applicable provisions of this Code and other ordinances of the city.
