Sec. 24-1. Definitions.


For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
Automobile trailer, trailer coach or trailer: Any vehicle or similar portable structure having no foundation other than wheels, jacks or skirtings and designed or constructed to permit occupancy for dwelling or sleeping purposes.
Dependent trailer coach: A trailer coach which does not have a flush toilet and a bath or shower.
Independent trailer coach: A trailer coach which has a flush toilet and a bath or shower.
Trailer camp: Any park, trailer park, trailer court, court, camp, site, lot, parcel or tract of land designed, maintained or intended for the purpose of supplying a location or accommodations for any trailer coach and upon which any trailer coach is parked, and shall include all buildings used or intended for use as part of the equipment thereof whether a charge is made for the use of the trailer camp and its facilities or not. The term “trailer camp” shall not include automobile or trailer sales lots on which unoccupied trailers are parked for purposes of inspection and sale.
Unit: A section of ground in a trailer camp of not less than eight hundred (800) square feet of unoccupied space in an area designed as the location for only one automobile and one trailer. (Code 1953, § 20.1)
