Any order either denying, renewing or revoking any license under the provisions of this chapter may be appealed to the circuit court for the county in the same manner as appeals from any order under the building or zoning provisions of this Code or other ordinances of the city. Appeals from such orders shall be taken within ten days after the order is issued. Upon any such appeal the findings of fact of the board of investigators, if supported by a preponderance of the evidence, shall be conclusive. (Code 1953, § 20.14.)
