Sec. 23-47. Complaints to commission.


(a) A complaint may be made at any time within one year of an alleged violation occurring.
(b) A complaint may be made for an alleged violation of any precluded act described in this chapter.
(c) For purposes of sanction, there is no distinction between types of complaints made.
(d) A complaint against a taxicab operator shall be deemed made against the taxicab permit holder.
(e) A complaint is deemed valid when made in writing to the taxicab administrative agency.
(1) Any person, including a member of the commission, who has knowledge of an alleged violation, may make a complaint.
(2) A complaint must provide the following information:
(A) Name;
(B) Telephone number;
(C) E-mail address (if possessed);
(D) Mailing address; and
(E) Time, date and nature of violation including witnesses to the violation. (Ord. No. G-04-10, 6-3-04)
