(a) No person shall drive or operate a taxicab:
(1) For more than twelve (12) hours out of every twenty-four (24) hours.
(2) While under the influence of alcohol or any drug which may impair the ability of the licensee to operate a motor vehicle.
(b) The violation of any of the provisions of this section shall constitute a municipal infraction subject to a fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each violation thereof, in addition to any other penalties or sanctions permitted by this chapter. (Ord. No. G-04-10, 6-3-04)
