(a) The taxicab administrative agency shall issue to every person entitled to a taxicab driver’s license, a taxicab operator’s license card containing the following:
(1) The operator’s name;
(2) The name, address and telephone number of the permit holder or company name whom the operator is employed, if different from the operator’s; and
(3) A photograph of the operator.
(b) The taxicab operator’s license card or temporary taxicab driver’s license shall be displayed in the placard as described in section 23-23 of this chapter and visible at all times to passengers in the taxicab at all times while the taxicab is in operation for business.
(c) Violation of this subsection is declared to be a municipal infraction. The penalty shall not exceed the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each violation. Each separate day of violation that remains uncorrected is a separate violation subject to an additional citation and fine. (Ord. No. G-04-10, 6-3-04; Ord. G-05-3, 3-10-05)
