(a) Each applicant for a new or renewal taxicab driver’s license shall furnish the taxicab administrative agency with written proof from a health care practitioner verifying that the applicant is physically able to operate a taxicab in a safe manner.
(b) The cost of any medical examination necessary to comply with subsection (a) of this section shall be paid by the applicant. (Ord. No. G-04-10, 6-3-04)
