(a) A taxicab commission is hereby created. The commission shall be vested with and possess the powers and duties specified in this chapter, and also all powers necessary or proper to enable it to carry out fully and effectively all the purposes of this chapter.
(b) The commission shall consist of three (3) members. The members of the commission shall be members of the board of aldermen designated by the mayor to serve upon the commission for terms concurrent with the terms for which they are elected to serve as aldermen.
(c) The mayor shall designate a chairperson of the commission. The chairperson shall be one of the aldermanic members.
(d) A quorum of the commission shall consist of two (2) members. (Ord. No. G-04-10, 6-3-04)
