Sec. 22-27. Grades, etc., to be obtained from director of permits and code management prior to doing work.


It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of land binding on any street, or for anyone performing work for such owner or occupant, to grade or pave any sidewalk binding thereon or driveway leading therefrom until he shall have made application to the director of permits and code management and obtained from him a written permit, setting forth the proper grade, location and width of any such sidewalk and the location of utility lines in the general proximity of such improvements. This section shall not apply to the repair and maintenance of sidewalks and driveways existing as of March 18, 1965. (Code 1953, § 18.28; Ord. No. G-199, § 1; Ord. No. G-90-48, § 1, 10-18-90)
