ARTICLE II. SIDEWALKS
Sec. 22-23. Construction by property owners.
Whenever the grade of any sidewalk has been established, it shall be
the duty of the owner of any land binding thereon to lay a sidewalk not more
than fifteen (15) nor less than four (4) feet wide, in the discretion of the
board of aldermen, to be constructed of concrete, brick or some other approved
material equally as good, along any such property, to conform to the grade
established by the city, within twenty (20) days after receiving notice in
writing from the city engineer to do so. Violation of this section is declared
to be a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be the sum of
twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (Code 1953, § 18.24; Ord. No. G-80-36, §
