Chapter 18 PUBLIC AMUSEMENTS*
ARTICLE II. CIRCUSES, CARNIVALS, ETC.
Sec. 18-8. Permit--Required; application; fee; issuance.
At least ten days before any outdoor circus, carnival or any other
mobile body plans to operate in the city, the management of such organization
shall apply in writing for a permit from the city health officer or his
authorized representative. Such a permit shall be issued by the health officer
or his authorized representative upon payment of a fee of twenty-five dollars
and after the city health officer or his authorized representative has received
satisfactory assurance that the organization will comply with all rules and
regulations of the city board of health. (Code 1953, § 14.9.)
