Sec. 17-9. Police powers outside corporate limits.


Any police officer may patrol the lands of the city located outside the corporate limits but within Frederick County. Any police officer may lawfully go or be sent to any point in the state in order to investigate and arrest any person or persons for any crime committed within the corporate limits or any other lands of the city within Frederick County.This provision is enacted pursuant to Article 27, Section 602B of the Annotated Code of Maryland and as hereafter amended.
