Sec. 16-13. Same--Transfers.


(a) In case the plumber who signs an application for a permit does not desire to do the work described by it, either in part, or in its entirety, he shall so notify the city in writing, requesting that he be released from responsibility for that part of the work which he does not desire to do. He will be held responsible under the terms of this chapter for the work which he has completed.
(b) In case the plumber who signs an application for permit dies, the permit shall terminate.
(c) In case the plumber who originally signed the application is removed from the work by the owner and is replaced by another plumber, the owner shall notify the city in writing, of the proposed change. The first plumber will be notified by the city of the proposed change and no transfer of the permit in less than five (5) days will be made without his consent.
(d) Except as above provided, permits may not be transferred.
(e) No plumber or plumbing company, heating equipment installer or water conditioning equipment installer shall allow the person’s name or state license registry to be used by any other person, firm, association, or corporation for obtaining permits, doing work, or for any other purpose whatsoever.
