It shall be unlawful for any business or individual to make payment to or provide loans, services, gifts, food or entertainment to any city official or employee with the intent to influence that person in the performance of his official duties. Violation of this section is declared to be a misdemeanor. The penalty for violation shall be a fine of not more than four hundred dollars ($400.00), or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both. (Ord. No. G-92-49, § 1, 10-15-92)
