Sec. 15-33. Sidewalk tables--Permits for use.


The mayor may grant permits free of charge to such persons and organizations as to him may seem proper to maintain tables on the sidewalks of the city, with the consent of the occupants of the houses before which such tables may be placed, for the purpose of exposing for sale fruits, cakes, nuts and other articles which it has been customary to sell in that manner. Violation of this section is declared to be a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (Code 1953, § 12.35; Ord. No. G-80-21, § 1, 7-17-80)
