Sec. 15-28. Parks; closing hours.



(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public parks and grounds owned by the city and located within or outside of the city limits between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., of the following day, unless written permission is first obtained from the Director of Recreation. Violation of this subsection (a) is declared to be a misdemeanor. The penalty for violation shall be a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both.

(b) The closing hours designated in paragraph (a) of this section shall not apply to McCurdy Memorial Park, Harry Grove Stadium, and Loats Park. (Code 1953, § 12.26; Ord. No. G-70-2, § 1; Ord.
