Sec. 15-21.8. Severability.

The provisions of this ordinance are severable, and if any provision, sentence, clause, paragraph or part hereof is held or determined to be illegal, invalid or unconstitutional or inapplicable to any person or circumstances, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, paragraphs or parts of this ordinance or their application to other persons or circumstances. It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent that this ordinance would have been passed if such illegal, invalid, unconstitutional or inapplicable provisions, sentence, clause, paragraph or part had not been included herein, and if the person or circumstances to which this ordinance to any part hereof are inapplicable had been specifically exempted herefrom. (Ord. No. G-02-9, § 1, 6-6-02)

Editor’s note--This ordinance, as referred to in this section, is Ordinance No. G-02-9, adopted June 6, 2002, which added sections 15-21 through 15-21.8 to chapter 15.
