It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or practice clairvoyance, mind reading, palmistry, phrenology, divination or other physical means or pretense of fortunetelling for gain, either directly or indirectly, within the city. Violation of this section is declared to be a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (Code 1953, § 12.17; Ord.
