Sec. 14-7. Deposit of corn plants on another’s property.


It is hereby declared to be a nuisance to throw, dump, deposit or allow to be carried by wind to the property of another within the city, corn plants, or any portion thereof, whether growing or decayed. If the chief of police determines that a nuisance exists, he shall give notice in writing to the owner of land upon which corn is or was growing to abate such nuisance within five (5) days of receipt of said notice. The notice shall also state that thereafter, the city may remove such nuisance at the owner’s expense. Failure to abate the nuisance within said five-day period shall constitute a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (Ord.
