ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL
Sec. 13-18. Same--Temporary emergency regulations.
Upon the declaration of a state of snow emergency, the chief of
police may issue such temporary emergency regulations as he may deem necessary
to regulate or prohibit, during such emergency, the parking of vehicles and the
direction of traffic on any of the streets of the city and shall give such
notice thereof as he shall deem proper. During such “snow emergency”
no owner or driver of a vehicle shall cause, permit, allow or suffer any vehicle
owned or driven by him to be parked or driven contrary to the regulations of the
chief of police. When the conditions creating the emergency no longer exists,
notice shall be given of the termination of the temporary emergency regulations
in such a manner as may be deemed proper by the chief of police. (1961 Supp.,
