(a) It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle in a parking meter space for a period of time greater than the maximum parking time as designated on the meter, whether or not further payments are inserted in the said meter.
(b) It shall constitute a separate offense for each and every additional period of time equal to the maximum permitted parking time as designated on said meter that a vehicle remains in said parking meter space. (Code 1953, § 10.111; Ord. No. G-76-7, § 1, 4-1-76)
