Sec. 13-38. Parking prohibited between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.


The board of aldermen shall have the authority to designate those streets or portions thereof upon which parking shall be prohibited between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. any day except Saturday and Sunday and may do so by unwritten resolution. A written notification of the resolution shall thereafter be immediately delivered to the superintendent of parking who shall see that the street or streets are properly marked and who shall keep a full list of those streets so designated in a permanent public file within the police department and the parking department of the city. It shall be unlawful for any person, except persons to whom special parking privileges have been granted or reserved, to place, stand or park any motor vehicle or other conveyance between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. any day except Saturday and Sunday on any of the streets so designated.
