Chapter 13 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC*
ARTICLE II. STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING*
Sec. 13-33.1. Four-hour parking.
The board of aldermen shall have the authority to designate those
streets or portions thereof upon which it shall be unlawful to park for more
than four (4) hours and may do so by unwritten resolution. A written
notification of the resolution shall thereafter be immediately delivered to the
superintendent of parking who shall see that the street or streets are properly
marked and shall keep a full list of those streets so designated in a permanent
public file within the police department and the parking department of the city.
It shall be unlawful for any person, except persons to whom special parking
privileges have been granted or reserved, to place, stand or park any motor
vehicle or other conveyance for more than four (4) hours at any one time on any
