Chapter 13 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC*
ARTICLE II. STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING*
Sec. 13-24.1. Residential special limited parking permits.
(a) Any person residing on the following streets within the city
may apply to the city for a special limited parking permit for his or her
vehicles, which streets shall include the south side of Catoctin Avenue between
Jefferson Street and Burke Street, Catoctin Avenue between Burke Street and
Center Street, Redwood Avenue, Adam Road, Willow Avenue, Burke Street from
Catoctin Avenue to Scholls Lane, Queen Street, Catoctin Avenue between Jefferson
Street and Thomas Avenue, and Braddock Avenue between Jefferson Street and
Barbara Street. The limited days and hours for which the parking permit shall be
effective are Monday through Sunday evenings from 10:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. Any
such vehicle lawfully displaying the permit may park on the designated streets
during the designated days and times. In addition, the residents of the
designated streets may apply to the city for a visitor’s permit so that
visitors to their residence displaying a visitor’s permit may park on the
designated streets on the designated days and times. There shall be no costs to
the residents for the permits.
(b) It shall be unlawful to park a
vehicle on any of the areas of the streets described in subsection (a) of this
section without a special limited parking permit on Monday through Sunday
evenings from 10:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.
(c) Violation of this section
shall be punishable by a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00). (Ord. No. G-96-32,
