Chapter 12 HEALTH AND SANITATION*
ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL
Sec. 12-5. Smoking in public places.
The smoking of any substance in those areas designated by the board of
aldermen as being prohibited is declared to be a health nuisance. It shall be
unlawful to smoke any substance in any room, corridor, space or area owned or
controlled by the city which is posted with a sign indicating that smoking is
prohibited. Any person who violates this provision shall be deemed to have
committed a municipal infraction and shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00).
