Sec. 12-22. Air space and floor space requirements for sleeping rooms.


No room shall be used for sleeping purposes unless there are at least four hundred cubic feet of air space and fifty square feet of floor space for each adult and at least two hundred cubic feet of air space and thirty square feet of floor space for each child under the age of twelve years occupying such room. No room used for sleeping purposes shall have a floor area of less than sixty square feet. (Code 1953, § 8.19.)
