The committee or its representatives shall have general charge of the enforcement of the provisions of this article. It shall, from time to time, make written reports to the mayor and board of aldermen relating to its activities in the enforcement of this article and shall recommend such additional regulations concerning the hygiene of housing as it may deem appropriate. The general objective of the committee will be to eliminate housing conditions detrimental or dangerous to health and life within the city limits through the enforcement of the regulations set forth in this article and all related provisions of this Code or other ordinances of the city.
