Chapter 10 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT*
ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL
Sec. 10-4. Placement for collection of refuse from outside the city.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any nonresident of the city or any owner
of a business not situated within the city limits, or any employee, agent,
tenant or licensee of either, to bring bagged, boxed or bundled household or
business refuse from outside the city into the city and deposit it anywhere in
the city for collection by the city or its agents. Violation of this section is
declared to be a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be a fine
not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00).
(b) The violator shall remove
any illegally dumped material within twenty-four (24) hours of notice of
violation. In the event that the violator shall fail or refuse to comply, he
shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each successive twenty-four
(24) hour period. At any time, it shall be lawful for the city to remove and
dispose of the material and charge the cost to the violator. (Ord. No. 99-34,
