There is hereby adopted by the city, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the most recent code known as the State of Maryland Fire Prevention Code, promulgated by the State Fire Prevention Commission adopted from time to time under authority of state law, except those portions that are modified by subsequent sections of this chapter. One copy of the code shall be kept in the office of the city fire protection engineer. (Code 1953, § 5.2; Ord. No. G-99-61, § 1, 10-21-99)
