self-closing. Toilet rooms shall be kept in clean condition, in good repair and
well lighted and ventilated. Hand washing signs shall be posted in each toilet
room used by employees or in the kitchen.

facilities comply with the Plumbing Code of the city and are located on the same
premises as the establishment, except in Class II and Class III itinerant
establishments, in which case toilets shall be located within a reasonable
distance and be accessible during all hours of operation.
(2) The toilet
room doors are provided with springs or checks to make them
self-closing.
(3) The toilet rooms and fixtures are kept clean, sanitary and
in good repair. The floor of the toilet room is constructed of material which is
impervious to water. Wood floors are acceptable only if they are smooth and have
been treated with filling and sealing compounds. In all establishments hereafter
constructed, the joints between the walls and floor of the toilet room shall be
covered and baseboard shall be omitted.

accordance with paragraph (3) of subsection (b) of section 6-11, and is

(5) Durable, legible signs are posted conspicuously in
each toilet room or in the kitchen, directing employees to wash their hands
before returning to work. Such signs may be stencilled on the wall to prevent
