Sec. 3-21. Allowing female animal in heat to run at large.


It shall be unlawful for the owner or custodian of a female animal while in oestrus or in a condition commonly known as “in heat” or “in season” to knowingly allow the animal to run at large. Any animal in oestrus shall be confined in a secure enclosure. Violation of this section is declared to be a municipal infraction. The penalty for violation shall be a fine in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) per animal. (Ord. No. G-77-14, § 1, 11-3-77; Ord. No. G-80-13, § 1, 7-17-80; Ord.
