The City of Frederick hereby creates a commission to be called the historic preservation commission (hereinafter the “commission”). The commission shall consist of at least five (5) and no more than seven (7) members appointed by the mayor with advice and consent of the board of aldermen. A majority of the members of the commission must be residents of the City of Frederick. Nonresident appointees to the commission must possess professional or academic qualifications as further described in section 2-35 of this chapter. (Ord. No. G-05-12, § 2, 7-21-05)
