(a) The director of public works is charged with the overall supervision of the public works department.
(b) He shall be responsible for the planning, coordination of construction and maintenance of all systems within the public works department.
(c) He shall perform such other duties as may be required by the board of aldermen.
(d) He shall supervise all bureau chiefs, superintendents, and any and all other supervisory positions, as from time to time approved by the mayor and board of aldermen. (Ord. No. G-90-25, § 1, 10-18-90; Ord. No. G-98-4, § 1, 3-19-99)
