Sec. 2-10. Duty to assist other city officials.


The city engineer shall, whenever called upon by the city attorney, furnish all the information in his possession concerning any matter that may come under the city engineer’s jurisdiction, carefully survey and plat any locality in the city which may be the subject of litigation to which the city is a party or whenever the city attorney may think such survey and plat are necessary for the protection of the city’s interest, and to assist the city attorney in litigation to which the city is a party whenever the city attorney may think such assistance necessary. The city engineer shall furnish any other city official and employee such advice and information as may be necessary to assist them in the proper performance of their duties. (Code 1953, § 2.14; Ord.
