The board of aldermen may compel the attendance of absent members in such manner and under such penalties as may be provided by ordinance. The board of aldermen by a unanimous vote of the other members present may expel a member from a meeting for disorderly conduct or violation of its rules. (Acts 1951, Ch. 539, § 15; Res.
