Editor's note.--This appendix consists of Ordinance No. G-70-40, adopted April 6, 1972, which creates a special assessment district pursuant to article XIII, section 166-A et seq. of the Charter. A uniform system of capitalization has been employed and a frontal analysis has been added for the convenience of the user. Otherwise, Ordinance No. G-70-40 is set out herein exactly as originally adopted.


AN ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII, SECTION 166-A
ET SEQ. OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF FREDERICK.

An Ordinance to amend the Code of the City of Frederick, 1966, as the same was adopted July 7, 1966, by adding Appendix G thereto.
WHEREAS, due to the annexation of all that property to the west of Frederick known as the "Western Environs" and development thereof, it is necessary to adopt a Special Assessment District to finance the construction of municipal sewer interceptors and water mains, streets, curbs, gutters, lights, storm sewers and other facilities which might be required for this district and to provide for the construction of water distribution lines and sewer collection lines by the developers of the property within the district; and since the construction of the sewer interceptors and water mains within this district will require among other things the extension of water and sewer trunk lines into the Rock Creek area, the construction of a water storage tank and connecting lines thereto, the enlargement of the water and sewer lines which now pass through the City of Frederick, and the expansion of the present water and sewer treatment plant, and to assure the orderly development of this district, and to effect therein the municipal improvements necessary, this Ordinance is enacted.
NOW THEREFORE, be it enacted and ordained by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Frederick as follows:
