Alan E. Imhoff is currently serving his first term as alderman for the City of Frederick. Mr. Imhoff is a graduate of the class of 1965 from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He received undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and American History from Loyola College in 1976, and an MBA from Hood College in 1989. Mr. Imhoff served in Regular Army with the Army Security Agency from 1966 - 1970. In 1998 he retired from a 32-year career in manufacturing, marketing and operations with AT&T as a Global Project Manager.

Currently Mr. Imhoff is an Adjunct Professor at Frederick Community College.

He is active with the local Parent Teacher Association (PTA), has been appointed to the Frederick County Workforce Development Board and the Maryland Military Installation Strategic Planning Council. He previously served on the county’s Local Emergency Planning Committee and the Infrastructure Finance Workgroup to the Maryland Economic Growth, Resource Protection, and the City of Frederick’s Planning Commission.

Mr. Imhoff is married and has two daughters.
